Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains which personal data I collect through menemoon.com, why I collect it, and what your rights are. I keep it simple: I only use your data to answer your messages and to share kind words you send me, never for advertising.

Who is responsible for your data?

Mene Moon
Dominique Cozyns
Company number: BE 0455.920.883
E-mail: dominique.cozyns@outlook.com

For any question about your personal data, you can contact me at the e-mail address above.

Which data do I collect?

I only collect the data you choose to send me yourself, for example when you e-mail me with a question about a painting, to make an appointment, or to leave a review. This usually means your name, your e-mail address and the content of your message.

When you visit the website, the web server automatically records some technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to keep the website working and secure.

Why do I use your data?

I use your data only to:
• answer your questions and messages;
• arrange a visit or appointment to see my work;
• handle the purchase of a painting or art cards, if you decide to buy something;
• keep the website working properly and securely.

I do this based on your consent (you contact me yourself), to carry out an agreement with you (a purchase), or because of my legitimate interest in running a safe website. I never use your data for newsletters or advertising unless you have explicitly asked for it.

Reviews

When you send me a review by e-mail, I may want to share your kind words on the website. You can ask me to remove your review at any time.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The accessibility button on the site remembers your display preferences (such as text size or contrast) in your own browser. This information stays on your device and is not sent to me or to anyone else.

If I ever start using cookies that need your consent, such as statistics cookies, I will ask for your permission first and update this policy.

External services

To display the website properly, some elements are loaded from external providers: fonts from Google Fonts, the social media icons from Simple Icons, and parts of the accessibility tool from Elementor. When these are loaded, your IP address is shared with these providers so they can deliver the files to your browser.

The website also links to Instagram and Facebook. When you click those links, you leave this website and the privacy policy of those platforms applies.

Do I share your data?

I never sell your data. I only share it with service providers that I need to run the website and my e-mail (such as my hosting and e-mail provider), and only as far as necessary. I also share data if the law requires me to.

How long do I keep your data?

I keep your messages for as long as needed to answer them and to follow up on our contact, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless you buy a work. Data related to a purchase is kept for as long as Belgian accounting law requires (currently seven years). Reviews are kept until you ask me to remove them.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data I have about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. If you gave your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Just send me an e-mail and I will reply within one month.

If you feel that I do not handle your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes to this policy

I may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when the website changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
